Richard "Dick" Millard - Memorial Fly-in - May 29, 2023 - 10:00-Sundown
The Fairborn Flying Aces are flying in honor of Richard "Dick" Millard.
Dick was the founder of the Wright State Renegades which later became the Fairborn Flying Aces, R/C Club. Dick had a profound love for the hobby and taught thousands of pilots how to fly rc models. He was always willing to share his knowledge with anyone who showed an interest. Dick passed away in October of 2022. He was a kind soul who is missed by many.
This event is open to anyone interested in attending and paying their respects to a great man. If you would like to fly, there is $10 landing fee. Keep in mind that our field is limited to 2m wingspans and 30cc engines. We also ask that all attendees be respectful at all times as this is a memorial event.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Dick's family. If you are unable to attend the event, but would like to donate to his family, donations can be made through PayPal to [email protected].
